About Me
Hello and welcome to my portfolio! My name is Rebekah(Chi-Ying). I was born and raised in Taiwan, and I just graduated from UIUC with my master’s degree in Information Management. My dream job is to work as a business/data analyst and help solve business problems with my analytical skills. I have experience in Python, R, SQL, Tableau, and PowerBI. During my free time, I love singing, playing the guitar, watching Netflix, and solving the Rubik’s Cube.
About My Dog-Darius
Meet my dog, Darius. She is a five-year-old mixed breed with German Shepherd, Wolf, Shiba Inu, Husky, and a LOT more. She was a stray dog in Taiwan before being adopted at three months old. She is probably the nicest dog you’ve ever seen in your life and loves every dog she has met. She may be a little naive but has never destroyed anything or any furniture, except for her toys and Dad’s student ID card (probably because she doesn’t want him to go to school :)).
In January 2023, she took a 15-hour flight from Taiwan to the United States. Even though it was a completely new experience for her, she is extremely happy about her new life and new friends!! If you want to see more cute pictures or videos of her, you can check out her Instagram at HERE.

Project description: VizAble is a web-based data visualization tool that generates accessible visualizations for all users, including people with visual impairments (low vision or blindness). This project will be utilizing research from Professor JooYoung Seo’s lab((x)Ability Design Lab), mainly the MAIDR (Multimodal Access and Interactive Data Representation) research.
